Julie Mitchell
InstructorHi I’m Julie and I come from a school background. I was a teaching assistant at a primary school where I taught school swimming to years 3, 5 & 6. Through school I have taught many children who were anxious, non-swimmers and some that have never been in a pool before. Having the children gain confidence in the water, have fun and develop the ability to swim gives me a great sense of achievement. I feel swimming is an important life skill and everyone, young or old should have the chance to learn to swim.
I am a SEQ Level 2 swimming teacher and I used to be a club swimmer, played water polo and worked as a lifeguard.
